I am extremely thrilled to write about my experiences as a student enrolled in the English courses held at the “Bistrița-Năsăud Centre of Excellence.” I have taken part in this class for almost two years now, and the environment which our incredible teachers, Helena Schuster and Diana Ilieș, have created has helped me develop, not only my English skills, but my own personality, too.
Before this class, I was a tremendously quiet and anxious person, speaking in public was my greatest nightmare. But they pushed the imaginary limits my mind has built, because they knew I could overcome my fears and they were right. If they had not encouraged me to give a speech in front of a crowd about our project “Come visit Bistrița!”, I would not be the confident person I consider myself to be today.
I can only be grateful that they have seen my potential and chosen me as a member of this little family. The friends I met through this class are genuinely so clever and unique. We all learn from each other, and it is just amazing to have someone who understands you and supports you through these strange times.
This English course has been significantly useful and beneficial for me. I acquired so much knowledge about this beautiful language, about the world itself and I discovered all sorts of new things about myself. I am always excited for the next class.
